About the Position

As a Senior Content Designer, you are a talented and driven UX practitioner who partners with a cross-functional team to create thoughtful, customer-centric digital experiences. You’re ready for hands-on projects at every stage of the lifecycle, from brainstorming creative concepts to workshopping information architecture with the project team to leading in client presentations. FFW is a seriously collaborative work environment, so Senior Content Designers need to collaborate across disciplines daily, from research to analytics to pitching new work, all while maintaining high standards for original concepts and detailed execution.

The Senior Content Designer is responsible for contributing to the design process, including identifying user pain points, defining product or platform features and functionality, generating content models, building key wireframes, and designing end-to-end user interfaces. 

 

You Will…

  • Plan and design for content through various methods in wireframe, low-fidelity prototypes, information architecture, and content modeling - Organizing and architecting digital content while recommending the best approach to its structure to be re-used in a variety of situations and across channels and devices easily.
  • Make strategic UX design decisions related to enhancing core web components and creating new component features to expand digital experiences.
  • Assist in the planning, optimizing, and facilitating the use of a library of standard web components.
  • Communicate the rationale behind user experience/content architecture decisions and their business value to digital team stakeholders.
  • Prepare metadata strategies, develop content matrix/mapping documentation, and collaborate with multi-discipline teams to establish content governance models.
  • Analyzing analytics and other research provided to support UX efforts.
  • Deliver creative, strategic, detailed solutions that sit at the user-centric intersection between technology and experience.
  • Be comfortable diagramming and workshopping.

You Have…

  • 5+ years experience creating interfaces, large-scale digital experiences, or applications
  • Excellence at designing a brand experience across multiple channels, including web, mobile, and native applications. Experiential, physical, and voice are a plus
  • Experience designing for a variety of industries, including retail, financial, travel, and healthcare.
  • Direct client interaction experience with the ability to build relationships, understand client vision/direction, and present designs and concepts.
  • Strong experience using various prototyping tools to help understand the problem, test concepts, and communicate experiences to internal teams and clients
  • Full understanding of how to identify the true needs of users through various methods
  • Successful track record leading interdisciplinary teams in creating great products, with proven skills in mentoring, presenting, and visual communication
  • Knowledge of service design, design systems, and agile methodologies
  • Risk-taking in design, pushing past the obvious and making something you love
  • Demonstrating ideas and concepts using flow diagrams, sketches, wireframes, and mid-fidelity prototypes
  • Collaborating with design and development teams to ensure the desired user experience is in the final product
  • Staying up-to-date on trends, new advances, and new platforms in the digital product space
