About the position:

FFW seeks a Solutions Consultant that can go beyond what you would expect from a good pre-sales architect with mastery of: solutioning, estimation, and proposal writing. Our Solutions Consults can develop winning project strategies for clients of all sizes and needs. They can work seamlessly across our disciplines to guide the prioritization of our work, collaborating directly with our clients -- from the C suite to developers. They are confident, passionate, and eager to continually learn and grow. They volunteer for the hard tasks. They rise to the challenge. They solve big problems and identify even bigger opportunities, both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has 5+ years of web development, consulting, or technical sales engineering experience.
  • Is comfortable presenting to enterprise clients and running client workshops.
  • Has experience with requirements gathering and project estimation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the FFW Sales Team to qualify leads through consulting, scoping, and estimation.
  • Architect project solutions to complex client needs in coordination with both FFW and client teams -- during the sales process and into project kickoff and discovery.
  • Provide compelling written overviews of business goals, suggested solutions, project scope, etc. for both the purpose of sales documentation, and also within projects.
  • Ensure client engagements smoothly transition from sales to delivery by clearly communicating client needs and project requirements documented during the sales process.
  • Develop strong customer relationships and advocate for customer success.
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Drupal, WordPress, Sitecore and other key technologies, along with FFW’s services offerings, industry trends, and competition.

 Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experience with estimating technology projects and agile project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience developing requirements, use cases, user stories, technical specifications, executive reports, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
  • High standards for delivering customer service.
  • Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity.
  • Knowledge of web technologies, web development, and related sales.
  • High-level knowledge of Drupal, WordPress, Sitecore, or other digital platform technologies
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Some business travel required.
